Kazakh writer Nurpeisov's books in English presented in New York

ASTANA. May 25. KAZINFORM - The Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations and the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in New York have organized a presentation of the famous writer's books, a classicist and the patriarch of the Kazakh Soviet literature Abdizhamil Nurpeisov.

To the attention of citizens of Kazakhstan and the United States, as well as representatives of the UN member states, civil society and the NGOs were presented the following books - "Blood and Sweat" and "The last duty" translated into the English language by Catherine Fitzpatrick.

A.Nurpeisov told the participants about his work, shared his memories of the eventful life of a writer.

The event attracted a large number of representatives of the New York community, the diplomatic and consular corps accredited in New York, and the Kazakh students studying in the United States. Maitre of Kazakh literature shared his creative plans and vision of the current state of literature.

At the end of the presentation there was an autograph session and distribution of Nurpeisov's books.
