The women’s ice hockey team of Kazakhstan won a silver medal at the Asian Winter Games 2025 undreway in Harbin, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s press service.
Kazakhstan beat South Korea 3:0 in the Women's Preliminary Round - Group A clash.
On its way to silver Kazakhstan beat Hong Kong, Thailand, Taipei and China.
It is the seventh medal of the women’s ice hockey team of Kazakhstan at the Asian Games and the country's first-ever silver medal. To note, Kazakhstan claimed three gold and three bronze medals through the years.
On February 13, Kazinform reported Kazakhstan beat China in the Women's Ice Hockey Preliminary Round Group A match at the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin.
