According to the Fund authorities, the woman is a native of Karaganda city. She lives in Kolkata with her children aged 10, 3,6 and 1,1. «If I had bare possibility and a chance to get out of here, please, help me,» an Instagram publication from the Fund reads.

As the Fund informs, the alcohol-addict man has been beating the woman for 4 years, limiting food and not supporting the family. He prohibited them from going out and does not allow the elder daughter to attend a school, and beats her. He broke a door in their room and stole his wife’s savings.

The woman says she wants to get out of India. She can work and raise her children. But the youngest child has no visa, while elder children’s visas have expired.

The Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to the publication.

«The Consul is in a constant contact with the woman. She will receive all required assistance. We will help her and her children come back to Kazakhstan,» the Ministry says.
