Kazakh Vice Minister of Oil & Gas meets Azerbaijan Minister of Energy and Deputy Minister of Economy & Industry

BAKU. December 12. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Vice Minister of Oil and Gas Magzum Mirzagaliyev and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Amangeldi Zhumabayev in the framework of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, have carried out meetings with the co-chair of the intergovernmental commission, Energy Minister Natig Aliyev and the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sevinj Hasanova.

During the round table there were discussed results of the IX meeting of the intergovernmental commission held in Astana and expressed intentions to continue bilateral relations development including in the field of energy, culture, agriculture, etc. It was noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is being developed at a high level.

Vice Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan Mirzagaliyev noted that Kazakhstan is interested in intensifying partnership with Azerbaijan in the field of mechanical engineering, mutual attraction of investments in the economies of the two countries and also invited the Azerbaijani side to actively participate in the world exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Zhumabayev has also expressed the need to increase economic collaboration between the two brotherly countries and enhance contacts between entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan is looking forward to the commissioning of the largest oil field Kashagan which products will be send to the world markets through "Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan" pipeline", said Aliyev.
