Kazakh-Uzbek commission starts its work in Tashkent

TASHKENT. KAZINFORM The Kazakh delegation led by 1st Deputy PM Bakytzhan Sagintayev arrived in the capital of Uzbekistan to participate in the 14th session of the joint intergovernmental commission for bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Those attending are to debate a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation as well as the ongoing state and prospects for trade and economic interaction, development of transport ties, and further broadening of contractual base. The volume of direct investments of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan has reached USD 14,9 mln since 2005 up to the first half six months of 2014. The sales made USD 1,545 mln for the past nine months.
