ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani Under-20 national ice hockey team beat Latvia in a friendly match in Riga, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
The Kazakh side edged Latvia's hockey players 5:4 in a penalty shootout. Yevgeniy Korolinskiy scored the most for Team Kazakhstan. Dmitriy Grents and Alikhan Assetov also demonstrated their best skills throughout the match by scoring one goal apiece. The game was sort of warm-up ahead the 2014 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship set to take place in Hungary on December 14-20.
