Kazakh-U.S. military cooperation key points explored in Astana
The sides discussed key trends of the Kazakh-American cooperation within a five-year military cooperation plan.
The Defense Minister of Kazakhstan noted that due to tight interaction of the two countries' leaders, cooperation of defense authorities develops in a constructive way.
Kenneth Fairfax commended military battle readiness of the Armed forces of Kazakhstan and assured he would make every effort to realize bilateral military cooperation plan. The U.S. Amabssador also noted Kazakhstan's participation in international actions on stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan.
"Today, it is necessary to react adequately to the threats of the modern world not only to provide securty in kazakhstan, but in the whole region as well," Adilbek Dzhaksybekov stressed.
