Kazakh Transport Minister visits car repair plant in Almaty region

ASTANA. August 3. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazi Kussainov has arrived with a working trip to Almaty region today.
The Minister visited a car repair plant in Almaty region. The plant produces spare parts and basic equipment for passenger railway vehicles as well as repairs passenger carriers. Estimated capacity is 1,500 cars after roundhouse servicing and capital repair.
Afterwards Mr. Kussainov visited Almaty locomotive depot. Its inventoried stock includes 23 electric locomotives and 61 diesel locomotives. The staff counts 775 people.
Besides, the Minister took part in launching of construction of a new railway line Zhetygen-Korgas.
