Kazakh tennis players up in ATP Singles Rankings

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has presented an updated list of athletes’ singles and doubles rankings, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

The top three tennis players remained unchanged, with Jannik Sinner of Italy in the first place, followed by Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and German Alexander Zverev ranked 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan dropped four spots, landing 32nd, while Alexander Shevchenko moved up to 59th position. Mikhail Kukushkin is ranked 111th this week. Kazakhstan’s Dmitry Popko dropped from 173rd to 175th spot. Beibit Zhukayev climbed 29 spots, landing 184th line. Timofey Skatov landed 194th spot.

Marcel Granollers of Spain and Horacio Zeballos of Argentina share the first place, while Mate Pavic of Croatia secures 3d place in the Men’s Doubles Rankings.

Kazakhstan’s Aleksandr Nedovyesov moved up to 55th line. Alexander Bublik lost two lines, sliding to 116th position.

Earlier it was reported that Zarina Diyas secured victory in the W50 Kayseri Tournament final in Türkiye last week. She defeated world No. 224 Aliona Falei of Belarus in two remaining sets with a score of 6:4 and 6:3.
