Kazakh tennis player reaches career high in WTA rankings

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas has improved her standing in the updated WTA rankings this week, Kazinform has learned from Vesti.kz.
The 20-year-old Diyas moved one spot up and is currently ranked 39th in the rankings. The athlete reached her career high this year thanks to good performance at the major tennis tournaments. Other tennis players representing Kazakhstan all did well in the rankings except for Yaroslava Shvedova who slid two spots down and landed the 67th berth. Yulia Putintseva went six spots up and is now ranked 121st, Sesil Karatantcheva is at №180 and Galina Voskoboeva is at №191.
