Kazakh tennis player fails to survive three-hour match at Roland Garros

In the second-round match the 20-year-old Putintseva was stopped by Elina Svitolina from Ukraine in a tough match. The Ukrainian needed about three hours and six aces to outplay Putintseva 1:6, 7:5, 9:7. Thus, Svitolina took their head-to-head rivalry to 2:2. Next up for the Ukrainian athlete is Annika Beck from Germany.
