ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's tennis player Sesil Karatantcheva has crashed out of the WTA's Coupe Banque Nationale in Quebec, Canada, Kazinform has learned from Sports.kz.
The 25-year-old Karatantcheva lost to Mirjana Lucic-Baroni of Croatia in straight sets 5:7, 0:6 in the quarterfinal match.
Lucic-Baroni needed only 1h 8min to route the Kazakh athlete. She served three aces and made six double faults.
