Kazakh tennis player advances at Japan Women's Open Tennis

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan-based tennis player Yulia Putintseva has advanced into the second round of the Japan Women's Open Tennis tournament in Osaka, Kazinform has learned from Vesti.kz.

In the first-round match the 19-year-old Putintseva defeated Japanese Risa Ozaki in straight sets 7:6, 6:3. The Kazakhstani will play Heather Watson from Great Britain in the next round. Another representative of Kazakhstan Zarina Diyas is to vie against Yung-Jan Chan from Chinese Taipei at the same tournament this morning.
