Kazakh team won five medals at Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's team of school students won five medals at the international Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad that was held on June 24-30 in Sarajevo, Kazinform refers to Republican Scientific-Practical Center "Daryn" of the Kazakh ministry of Education and Science.
Andrei Drobakh from Pavlodar was awarded gold medal. Three students from Astana and Almaty Rauan Rakhmet, Temirlan Musayev and Medet Zhanbulatuly won silver medals. Senior from Taldykorgan Ualikhan Kerimkululy was awarded bronze. Kuanysh Sharipov from Taldykorgan received certificate of honor.
According to the organizers, the results show the high level of knowledge of Kazakhstani students. Remarkable talent and excellent knowledge are necessary to win the Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad.
