Kazakh team won 6 medals at int'l Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad

ASTANA. June 24. KAZINFORM The Kazakh team won 6 medals at the international Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad held June 19-24 in Larnaca, Cyprus, the press service of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center Daryn said.
Akezhan Amankeldy, a pupil of the Astana Zerde School for the gifted, won the gold. 3 pupils won silver medals and 2 secured the bronze.
According to the rules of the Olympiad, Kazakhstan participated in it as a guest along with Great Britain, Azerbaijan and Italy.
