Kazakh Supreme Court Chairman visited Bulgaria

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan Musabek Alimbekov paid return visit to Bulgaria on July 1-2 where he held a range of meetings, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.

Issues of realization of the provisions of the Protocol on experience exchange between judges, training and retraining of personnel, holding international conferences and forums of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting with Chairman of Supreme Court of Cassation Lazar Gruev.

The Kazakh side complemented the process of implementation of the agreements in the mentioned fields.

Issues of organization of the legal and penal systems were discussed at the meeting with Bulgaria's Chief Prosecutor Boris Velchev and Director of the National Institute of Justice Pencho Penev.

At the meeting with Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Tsetska Tsacheva and representatives of the Deputy Friendship Group with Kazakhstan issues of modernization of the legislation in the field of organization of legal and penal systems were discussed.
