Kazakh students took part in EUROMATH-2013

ASTANA. April 19. KAZINFORM Kazakh students took part in the European Student Conference in Mathematics "EUROMATH-2013" on 10-14 April 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Conference was organized by the European Mathematical Society in association with the Republican Scientific Practical Center "Daryn" (Kazakhstan). The conference consisted of seminars and sessions that covered multiple mathematical topics.

According to the center, the event brought together 510 students from 19 countries of the world, including Kazakhstan, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Indonesia, Iran, Spain, the UAE, Uganda, and many more.

In addition, such leading mathematicians of Europe as President of the European Mathematical Society Marta Sanz-Sole, President of the Cyprus Mathematical Society and the Thales Foundation Gregory Makrides, member of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians Sava Grozdev, representatives of the Berlin University (Germany), University of Crete (Greece), Chalmers Technological University and Gothenburg University attended the conference.
