Kazakh students shine at WorldSkills Lyon 2024
Daniyar Abikenov, a Kostanay Highway Transport College student, took part in the 47th WorldSkills International Competition held between September 10 and 15 in France, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Daniyar won a Medallion for Excellence in the IT Network Systems Administration.
Students from Kazakhstan competed in 30 skill areas to add seven Medallions of Excellence to the country’s tally.
The WorldSkills Lyon 2024 brought together 1,500 young skilled talents from 65 countries. The WorldSkills Competition is called to support young competitors from all over the world.
As earlier reported, the WorldSkills regional championships were held in three cities and 17 regions of Kazakhstan bringing together over 3,500 students and 4,000 experts, including over 500 workers.
