Kazakh-Spanish duo stuns in Apia International Sydney opener

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani Yaroslava Shvedova and Anabel Medina Garrigues of Spain have advanced to the second round of women's doubles at the Apia International Sydney in Australia, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
The Kazakh-Spanish duo routed Aussie Arina Rodionova and Ukrainian Olga Savchuk in three sets 6:4, 5:7, 10:4. In next round Shvedova and Garrigues will face either Americans Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears or Slovak Dominika Cibulkova and Aussie Jarmila Gajdosova.
