Kazakh singer wins Grand Opera project

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Astana Opera House soloist Saltanat Akhmetova took the first place at the Grand Opera TV competition in Moscow.
Only three contestants advanced to the final held on Saturday. SMS voting brought Kazakhstan's Akhmetova 47% of votes to be the first, while Russian and Belarusian signers took the second and third places respectively. According to Saltanat, her victory in this project will open her the doors to the great opera world.
