Kazakh, Serbian businessmen defined prospects of economic cooperation

ASTANA. October 7. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh and Serbian business communities have defined the prospects of economic cooperation at a roundtable "Kazakhstan-Serbia" organized within the visit of Serbian President Boris Tadic to Astana today.

Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Berik Kamaliyev familiarized the guests with the country's five-year State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development. After then he suggested the Serbian businessmen creating joint enterprises in any sectors of industry.

In turn, Minister of Trade and Services of Serbia Slobodan Milosavljević noted that Kazakhstan and Serbia had already entered into several important agreements which open new opportunities for bilateral cooperation development.

As is known, mutual goods turnover between two states made USD 18.3 mln last year.
