Kazakh Senate Vice Speaker, Charge d'Affaires of Libya met in Astana

ASTANA. July 13. KAZINFORM Kazakh Senate Vice Speaker Mukhambet Kopeyev and Charge d'Affaires of Libya to Kazakhstan Ahmad Ad-Deeb have discussed the issues of further development of the Kazakh-Libyan relations at a meeting; the House's press service reports.

Noting that "Kazakhstan is interested in strengthening bilateral relations with Libya", the Vice Speaker emphasized "importance of increasing the Interparliamentary dialog".

"Contacts development on the line of the Interparliamentary interaction will promote implementation of projects on strengthening cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres", the Vice Speaker said.

On M.Kopeyev's opinion, the current friendly ties between the two states have great prospects and opportunities.

Touching upon the priority directions of Kazakhsatn's external and internal policy, the Vice Speaker emphasized that "owing to the policy conducted by Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev, our country reached a new level of international recognition".

Ahmad Ad-Deeb, in his turn, highly appraised Kazakhstan's achievements in the sphere of political modernization and economic development.

"Your country makes great contribution into strengthening cooperation between the East and the West, establishes close ties with the Muslim and Arab World", the Libyan diplomat said.

Ahmad Ad-Deeb highlighted that Libya stands for bilateral relations activation on all directions of interstate ties, including on the Interparliamentary level.
