Kazakh Senate Speaker to negotiate with Chairman of Federation Council of Russia in Moscow

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has announced it at the meeting with a group of permanent representatives to the OSCE.

"We will continuously, more and more actively carry out the work connected with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, we think that it is a privilege for us - to be a part of the OSCE parliamentary family. In three days I plan to leave for Moscow for holding talks with the Chairman of the Federation Council", K.Tokayev noted.

According to him, the negotiations will be dedicated not only to bilateral ties and contacts, but a wide range of issues of cooperation on different topics connected with security and interaction increase within the framework of the OSCE.  

K.Tokayev emphasized that at present the Kazakh Parliament held the big work on improving the political system of the country for its conformance to the OSCE standards.

"This activity began, and we well worked in this direction. I think that it will be continued", the Speaker said.
