Kazakh Senate ratifies international agreement with Belarus

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Senate's plenary session has adopted the law "On ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus on the order of stay of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Belarus and the citizens of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
"The agreement was signed in Astana on October 4, 2013 by the Ministers of the Interior. The agreement establishes a simplified procedure of stay for citizens of Kazakhstan and Belarus on the territory of the parties without compulsory registration with the competent authorities within 30 days," said Kazakhstan Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlan Turgymbayev presenting the bill. Deputy Minister noted that Kazakhstan is taking consecutive steps to deepen economic integration in the framework of the Customs Union. Belarus ratified the agreement in June 2014.
