Kazakh Senate ratified UN Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property

ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM / Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Law "On ratification of the United Nations Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property" was adopted at the plenary session of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament.
Kazakh Minister of Justice Rashid Tusupbekov noted that the Convention was adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 2, 2004. To the date 28 countries joined the Convention, 5 of them ratified it as well.
"The participation of Kazakhstan in the Convention will allow to provide immunity of the state and its property to jurisdictions of court of other Convention member states", R.Tusupbekov said.
