Kazakh senate ratified agreement on IT use in trade within the Customs Union

Astana. December 26. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Senate passed the law "On ratification of the Agreement on application of IT in the exchange of electronic documents in foreign and mutual trade within the common customs territory of the Customs Union" at its plenary meeting.
The bill was presented by transport and communications minister Askar Zhumagaliev, who said that the Agreement signed on 21 September 2010 in Moscow regulated the process of exchange of electronic documents by the Customs Union's member states, individuals and entities using IT in external and mutual trade within the Customs Union.
The Agreement enables the checking of validity of foreign electronic signatures within the CU and participation in interstate swap of information within the CU starting 1 January 2014, which will facilitate trade development.
