Kazakh Senate confirms agr’t with China on Dostyk waterworks operation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Senate's plenary session has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the management and operation of the joint combined waterworks "Dostyk" on Khorgos River".
"The main purpose of the Agreement is to regulate the issues of joint management and operation of "Dostyk" waterworks on the river Khorgos, as well as equitable distribution of water resources of the river Khorgos," said Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov presenting the bill.
