Kazakh Senate Chairman meets with Kyrgyz PM

ASTANA. June 17. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Senate Speaker Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Igor Chudinov, who arrived in Kazakhstanwith an official visit; Kazinform refers to the Senate?s press service.
The parties discussed the status and prospects of bilateral relations development, including the interparliamentary cooperation.
K. Tokayev noted the importance of this visit for further expansion of Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations. According to him, the intergovernmental agreements signed upon the results of the first sitting of the Intergovernmental Council were of paramount importance for further activation of bilateral cooperation between the two states.
I. Chudinov emphasized the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation and expressed interest in its further extension.
