Kazakh Security Council holds its session

ASTANA. May 19. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan holds its session in Astana. The issue of food security is being considered; Kazinform reports.
?We need work more to develop agriculture as one of the sectors of the innovation economy, increase an added value of agriculture, its volumes in the country?s GDP and total exports. It is a big and hard task. For the first time we put the agro-industrial complex to the first place?, Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev said. The Kazakh President noted that from 2003 the state directed over KZT 500 bln to this sector support.
Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev is a main reporter at the session.
