Kazakh Security Council focused on draft National Security Strategy for 2012-2016

TANA. October 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Today's meeting of the Security Council of Kazakhstan chaired by Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has focused on the country's draft National Security Strategy for 2012-2016.
Addressing those gathered President Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that the importance of the adoption of a package of mid-term measures within this strategic document to contribute to maintenance of peace and consent, sustainable development of the Kazakh society, further strengthening of the state and economy, security threats and challenges manageability.
The President has put forward a number of remarks and proposals concerning concrete mechanisms to counter the current and projected threats and challenges.
