Kazakh Secretary of State, PACE Chairman talked over the phone

M. Cavusoglu praised the pace of political and economic reforms in Kazakhstan, the level of the recent presidential election and expressed satisfaction with the partner ties between the two states.
Given the fact that by the 20th anniversary of independence Kazakhstan has made significant progress in implementing socio-economic and political reforms, Cavusoglu and a number of PACE members, who spoke at the Assembly's visiting session in Kiev on May 27, expressed the view that Kazakhstan corresponds to "Partner for democracy" status, since Kazakhstan is the leading country in the region.
K. Saudabayev expressed appreciation to the PACE for their interest and attention to Kazakhstan's political life. He invited Mr. Cavusoglu to the coming meeting of the Foreign Ministers' Council of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Astana. The Chairman accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation in the OIC Summit.
