Thailand continues to host the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Kazakh boxer Ulzhan Sarsenbek (57kg) defeated Karina Vovk of Ukraine by unanimous decision, cruising into the ¼ finals of the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships.
It was earlier reported that Alua Balkibekova had withdrawn from the competition due to health problems.
