Kazakh, Russian presidents to meet in Pavlodar in Sep

ASTANA. June 7. KAZINFORM Over 20 years of cooperation commodity circulation between our countries has grown by 40 percent and reached the maximum level of more than USD 24 billion. One of the main growth factors became the Customs Union, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Astana.
"Cross-border cooperation plays a big role in our bilateral relations. This year we have agreed to meet in September in the city of Pavlodar [at Interregional Cooperation Forum]. This will be a huge boost," Nazarbayev stated.
The Head of State noted that 50 percent of trade is performed by the regions.
