Kazakh, Russian presidents raised issue of national currencies

PAVLODAR. September 20. KAZINFORM During the Interregional Cooperation Forum in Pavlodar, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia speaking of the intention to improve the integration cooperation raised the issue of the national currencies, Russian leader Vladimir Putin told a final briefing on Wednesday, September 19.
"We're going to continue to improve the integration cooperation up to the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union. Today, we talked with President Nazarbayev about cooperation in monetary and financial spheres. The Kazakh President raised these issues keeping in mind that amid fluctuations of national currencies we need to develop a mechanism that would consistently maintain our competitiveness and prevent any losses in our economies and individual companies - economic actors," the Russian President noted.
