Kazakh-Russian Parliamentary Group - most active among Senate's coop groups: K.Tokayev
Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has made it public today at the fourth session of the cooperation group between the Senate and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
"The Kazakh-Russian Parliamentary Group established between the upper houses of the Parliaments of two states is the most active group on cooperation of the Senate with the foreign parliaments. In a short period of time the deputies have done a great job on consideration and discussion of a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation", K.Tokayev said.
"I believe such format of work completely proves its worth and promotes the role of the deputy corps in strengthening the good neighborhood and strategic partnership between our states. This is very useful work", he said.
