Kazakh, Russian FM sign action plan for cooperation in 2013

MOSCOW. January 25. KAZINFORM Foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and Russia signed the Action Plan for Cooperation in 2013 during a meeting in Moscow on Friday.
Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov told a press conference after the meeting Kazakhstan and Russia are close partners and they intend to develop long-term strategic partnership in future.
During the meeting Idrissov and his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov touched upon the prospects for cooperation within regional and international structures, including the Customs Union, EurAsEC, CIS and CSTO. In addition, activities of the two countries in the UN and OSCE were reviewed.
The Kazakh and Russian foreign ministries discussed situation in central Asia, Afghanistan and around it.
