Kazakh Prime Minister visits Kostanay maternity hospital

KOSTANAY. July 9. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ During his working visit to Kostanay region Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov visited a maternity hospital of Kostanay.
The Premier met with the heads of the regional hospitals. The issues of the quality of medical services, training specialists and a draft program of healthcare "Salauatty Kazakhstan" were discussed.
The maternity hospital of Kostanay was built in 1978. It has nine departments. About KZT 1 billion was spent for repair and new equipment in 2008-2010. 52 doctors and 155 nurses work here presently.
