Kazakh Prime Minister meets Russian counterpart

Massimov expressed appreciation to Dmitry Medvedev for his first visit to Kazakhstan as Prime Minister of Russia. "This is what we appreciate as a sign of great trust and respect between our two countries," he added.

The Kazakh Premier expressed confidence that today's meeting between Dmitry Medvedev and Nursultan Nazarbayev as well as bilateral meetings at the intergovernmental level would give additional impulse to the development of bilateral relations of the two states.

Medvedev said that "in addition to the friendly partnership relations that bind our two countries, in recent years we have made ​​significant progress in bilateral relations and in terms of international integration."
