Kazakh President welcomes U.S.- Iran agreement
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the agreement reached between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Qazinform News Agency learnt from the Akorda press service.
In a post on X, the President said that in the current complex international environment, the achievement of this agreement has particular significance for the region and for the entire international community.
We highly commend the political will of the parties that allowed to restore trust and mutually acceptable solutions.
We particularly appreciate the leadership of the President of the U.S. Donald Trump, who demonstrated resolve and strategic vision at this pivotal moment.
We also welcome the constructive approach taken by the leadership of Iran. Kazakhstan expresses its hope that the signing of the peace deal will lay a solid foundation for strengthening peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond, the post reads.
