Kazakh President visited airbase in Karaganda

Kazakh Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov told the Head of State about the course of combat training and airbase infrastructure. The President examined the aviation equipment and a technical laboratory. He was also demonstrated the maintenance work on the MiG-31 aircraft and the integrated simulator of the same aircraft.

"Pilots of the Air Defense Forces of Kazakhstan's army guarding the aerial frontiers of the country have many times participated in large-scale international exercise. Nine aerial exercises were conducted in 2010. Total flight time in the Air Defense Forces made ​​more than 25,000 hours. The average flight experience for a single pilot - 83 hours," the Ministry of Defense informs.
