Kazakh President unveils first university diagnostic centre

KazNU rector Galym Mutanov, the vice minister of healthcare policy at the Healthcare and Welfare Ministry of Korea, Korea's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Yonsei medical centre representatives attended the solemn opening ceremony. The centre is purposed to raise competitive strength of the country's healthcare and education system, to develop scientific and human resources, extension of international cooperation, transfer of innovation medical technologies, integration of scientific and research and education activities. The first step is an opening of the diagnostic centre in cooperation with the South Korean partners. The centre stretching across 2,400 sq m will provide world class medical services. KZT 1,2 bln was invested in its construction and equipment.
