Kazakh President to visit Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. July 1. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected in Karaganda region today; the regional akimat's press service told Kazinform.
The Kazakh leader will make a two-day visit to the cities of Karaganda and Temirtau, including a number of industrial and social facilities.
Today N. Nazarbayev will visit the Karaganda foundry-machine building plant, which is the affiliate of Kazakhmys Corporation with KazBelaz joint venture based on it.
On Friday, July 2, N. Nazarbayev will take part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the metallurgical complex Magnitka, congratulate metallurgists on the event and attend an exhibition at the ArcelorMittal Temirtau steel works.
