Kazakh President to take part in opening of Int'l Congress on Mineral Resources & Metallurgy

ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM /Kalamkas Abuova/ The first Kazakhstan International Congress on Mineral Resources and Metallurgy AMM-2010 will be opened today in Astana within the framework of the celebratory activities devoted to the Day of the City. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to take part in the opening ceremony.
AMM-2010 is a grand event devoted to the sphere of mineral resources and metallurgy in Kazakhstan. It is held under the auspices of Astana Akimat.
The Congress will include a forum, an industrial exhibition, opening of a metallurgy museum, laureates awarding ceremony, etc.
More than 300 companies will take part in the event.
