Kazakh President to leave for Turkey

ASTANA. October 8. KAZINFORM "October 11-12, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit Turkey," official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Altay Abibullayev said at a briefing.

"Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Erdogan during the official visit. The sides will discuss milestones of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey for the past 20 years, status and perspectives of bilateral cooperation, importance of strengthening of mutually beneficial economic, scientific, cultural and humanitarian relations," A. Abibullayev told.

According to him, the first session of the Strategic Cooperation Council with the participation of the Kazakh President and Prime Minister of Turkey will be held within the N. Nazarbayev's visit.

Bilateral documents, a plan for realization of the joint economic program "New Synergy" under the aegis of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey will be signed following the meeting.

Besides, a business forum with participation of business circles of the two countries is scheduled for October 11-12 in Istanbul.
