Kazakh President to hold sitting of the Foreign Investors' Council

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev will hold the 27th plenary sitting of the Council of Foreign Investors under the Kazakh President on June 12-13, 2014.
The discussions will focus on participation of foreign investors in realization of the second five-year industrial and innovation development plan of Kazakhstan.
Deputy PM - Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev and EBRD president Sir Suma Chakrabarti will be the keynote speakers. Besides, heads of the ADB, Sberbank, General Electric, LUKOIL, SHELL, Cameco will also take the floor.
Foreign Investors' Council, founded in 1998, is a consultative advisory board under the President of Kazakhstan.
The Council is aimed at providing and developing a direct dialog with investors operating in Kazakhstan and efficient settling of the problems related to investment activity.
