Kazakh President surveys Bilim Innovation boarding school education process
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Bilim Innovation boarding school in the city of Turkistan to survey its education process and scientific and research projects of the students, Kazinform News Agency reports referring to the Akorda press service.
The school is majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences with physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computer science taught in English.

The new building of the school was commissioned at the beginning of the year in Turkistan. Earlier it was located in Kentau. Currently over 500 pupils are studying at the school.

The Head of State surveyed the classrooms, and a gym and met with students. Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said the country’s future lies in the hands of the younger generation and wished them success.


29 schools for 14,000 schoolchildren are being built in Turkistan region under the Comfortable School national project. 20 educational facilities will be built on the recovered assets. Of these 13 will be commissioned this year to tackle three-shift schooling and shortage problems.

As reported earlier, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Turkistan region for a working visit.
