Kazakh President receives Chairman of Agency for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes

ASTANA. July 25. KAZINFORM - Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Rashid Tusupbekov, Chairman of the Agency for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes, according to the President's official web-site http://www.akorda.kz/.
Tusupbekov reported on operational performance of financial police in the first half of 2013 and investigations of a number of high profile cases.
The Agency's leader also pointed out the 8% growth of corruption crime detection rate. For six months of this year 1,192 offences have been considered as solved.
By the end of the meeting the President set a number of tasks for the Agency and gave specific instructions on the issues discussed.
