Kazakh President received Culture Minister

ASTANA. September 2. KAZINFORM Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Kazakh Minister of Culture Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed.
The Minister informed of the main directions of the draft state program of functioning and development of languages for 2011-2020. The program should ensure full-scale functioning of the state language as a main factor of strengthening national unity.
He also told about the progress of implementation of the program 'Cultural Heritage', particularly regarding the applied research, archaeological excavations and restoration of monuments.
