ASTANA. May 30. KAZINFORM Speaking at the IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to create a special web portal on the issues of formation and strengthening of global tolerance and confidence.
"It is important to provide interactive sessions of the Council of Religious Leaders and Secretariat of our Congress, continuous on-line forum for a wide range of Internet users. I hope you will support this proposal," Nazarbayev said.
"Information technology is now often used for the separation of people, raising new barriers within societies and between countries. Web-based resources are often used to promote vice, lie, vile human instincts and hatred. They undermine moral and ethical ties of any society: family, traditions of upbringing of children," Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed.
According to the Head of State, the website could become a part of the electronic portal G-Global.
