Kazakh President met with PM of Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR. April 18. KAZINFORM "Malaysia is the key Kazakhstan's partner in the Southeast Asia," said Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at a press conference following the meeting with Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Tun Razak in "Perdana Putra" Palace in Kuala Lumpur.
"Kazakhstan is the young independent country which celebrates just 20th anniversary of its independency. Sure we adopted experience of Malaysia which is one of the "Asian tigers," N.Nazarbayev said.
The Kazakh President noted "notwithstanding long distance between Kazakhstan and Malaysia both countries have much resemblance in history." In particular, new capitals were built in the two countries. According to N. Nazarbayev, Astana and Putrajaya represent progress and future development of the two states. .
